Welcome to USCG Auxiliary's
Flotilla 57, Siuslaw River Oregon.
(As soon as Flotilla 57 develops their website, its link will
be posted here)
Between Florence and the ocean lies an
extensive area of sand dunes that sometimes reach as high as 300 feet.
Other natural highlights include the freshwater lakes, sand dunes and
beaches that constitute Jessie Honeyman State Park. In the late
spring, thousands of rhododendrons bloom and the event is celebrated
each May with the Rhododendron Festival, the second oldest floral
festival on the West Coast. Florence is also the home of Oregon Coast
Magazine.
