The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary's District 13 - Division 5 covers most of the Oregon coast from Pacific City in the north to the California boarder (in the south), and from the southern Willamette Valley (Eugene) down the I-5 cooridore to Ashland and east to Klamath Falls.

What's Happening in Division 5?
Div 5 EAP Planning Group 2012: During our Fall 2011 Meeting we discussed the need for a division-wide Emergency Action Plan. In January all FCs will be asked one again to seek and appoint two volunteers to be part of the division's EAP Planning Group.
Eugene Boat & Sportsman's Show (Feb 3-5, 2012): Members of Flotilla 52 (Eugene) and Division 5 are supporting a large boating safety booth at the Eugene Boat & Sportsman's Show February 3-5, 2012. It will be held at the Lane County Convention Center. This event will be a combined USCG, USCG Auxilary, and OSMB booth and will include a trailered 25ft Coast Guard Defener-class Patrol Boat, a large Boating Safety displays from the Auxiliary and Marine Board. We anticipate thousands of boating enthusias to come by the booth. For those members outside the area that would like to help, please call or send an e-mail to Tom Miller (DCDR5).
Roseburg Sportsmen's & Outdoor Recreation Show (Feb 17-19, 2012): Members of Flotilla 52 (Eugene) , Flotilla 59 (Grants Pass) and Division 5 are supporting a large boating safety booth at the Roseburg Sportsmen's & Outdoor Recreation Show (Feb 17-19, 2012). It will be held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds Complex. Just like Eugene, this event will be a combined USCG, USCG Auxilary, and OSMB booth and will include a trailered 25ft Coast Guard Defener-class Patrol Boat, a large Boating Safety displays from the Auxiliary and Marine Board. District 13's Spring Conference (Feb 17-19, 2012): District 13 is having their late winter conference at the Monarch Hotel in Clackamas, Oregon. This will be a very small meeting, basically an EXCOM meeting, a planning meeting and a main board meeting. Due to limitations in funding, we do not anticipate any training events, nor can we invite any DSOs under USCG orders.
Medford Sportsmen's & Outdoor Recreation Show (Feb 24-26, 2012): Members of Flotilla 59 (Grants Pass) and Division 5 are supporting a large boating safety booth at the Medford Sportsmen's & Outdoor Recreation Show (Feb 24-26, 2012). It will be held at the Jackson County Expo. Just like Eugene & Roasburg, this event will be a combined USCG, USCG Auxilary, and OSMB booth and will include a trailered 25ft Coast Guard Defener-class Patrol Boat, a large Boating Safety displays from the Auxiliary and Marine Board. Div 5's Spring Training Conference (March 24-25, 2012): Our Spring Training Conference will be held at the Oregon Instiutue of Marine Biology (OIMB) in Charleston, OR. We will specifically focus on training for the flotilla member on Saturday and Sunday morning with a follow-on board meeting. As the training calendar finalized it will be posted on this website. So please set aside the weekend of March 24 and 25 to attend.
